Kohderyhmänä on palliatiivisen lääketieteen ja hoitotyön ammattilaiset, palliatiivisesta hoidosta kiinnostuneet muut ammattiryhmät. Noin puolet osallistujista on palliatiivisen hoidon lääkäreitä eri puolilta maailmaa. Kurssia haetaan lääkäreiden erikoistumiskoulutukseksi.
